Galva Arts Council

For over thirty years...

The Galva Arts Council has been dedicated to bringing people together to promote and participate in the arts. A network of volunteers bring a passion for sharing talents with the local community and sponsoring events.

The Arts Council Center, located at 128 Exchange Street, provides the people of Galva, IL and surrounding communities a place to enjoy a variety of visual and performing arts. The Center is home to many activities throughout the year: monthly Coffeehouses, seasonal luncheons, arts & crafts workshops, yoga classes and more.

Read Along Series

The Arts Council started the Read Along Series this past spring. It started off as two weeks of stories and craft instructions for kids to help with all of the new time we were spending at home. We added a third week that included guest readers from the community. We also did a special week long Christmas Read Along Series. In January we also added a special one day Martin Luther King Jr. Read Along. We plan to keep adding to this Read Along Series. You can find all of our Read Along videos on our YouTube Channel or on our Facebook page. The best part is that it is free to watch the videos!
